Meet the Throckmortons

The crew that gets it all done

Located outside Greeley near the Front Range of Colorado, Throckmorton Show goats strives to breed and raise quality Boer goats. The family takes pride in their award-winning ABGA-registered Boer does and bucks, as well as the competitive wether crop they raise for 4-H and FFA students in the northern Colorado area.

Throckmorton Show Goats started in 2009 as a partnership between Ryan, Jerry and Jackie, three generations of the Throckmorton family. They started with only a few Boer does and have since built the herd to more than 100 does and six bucks.

In the years since, Throckmorton Show Goats has found success in the American Boer Goat Association show ring, winning numerous division and overall championships at the National Western Stock Show, ABGA Nationals, Nebraska State Fair, Colorado State Fair and more.

Today, Throckmorton Show Goats is a family affair, with Ryan, Matthew, Jerry, Carol, Erin and Jackie keeping the farm at its winningest. Hogan, Gretchen and Blue, the official farm herders, ensure the goats stay in-line.
