Whiskey Butterfly: Lot #2 at Midwest Producer’s Classic

If you’re looking for a pretty percentage doe at the Midwest Producer’s Classic sale, Butterfly is your doe. She is so elegant through her front end complete with plenty of neck extension. And, she ties into her rack high on her shoulder and extends back with a very level top. Meanwhile, she’s got a perfect maternal wedge, and she’s extremely square in her back leg construction. Further, the cool markings are just a bonus on a very structurally-correct package.

The sire’s side of the pedigree speaks for itself, with players like JAD SRB Ruger’s Evolution (ennobled) and KENZ Fireball (ennobled), but what you don’t see are the wether genetics from her dam’s side. Consequently, those genetics make Butterfly dual purpose when it comes to breeding.

Quality is on the menu, no matter which way you take her—breed her to a fullblood buck for excellent percentage does, or put a wether buck on her for competitive market wethers. Unquestionably, Butterfly is your gal in the showring and in the breeding pen.

Roxxxy Andrews: Lot #26 at Midwest Producer’s Classic

Roxxxy Andrews has been our powerful and bold kid of this season at Throckmorton Show Goats. To start, she’s so three-dimensional at every angle. From the front, she starts with a bold head that flows into a strong neck and set of shoulders. Further, she’s powerful topped and explodes into her hip and rear leg with a ton of muscle. This doe sets on plenty of bone, and the best part is she still looks pretty and feminine from the side.

When you look at her pedigree, you see where the combination of power and femininity come from with Able Acres and Windy Acres genetics. Without a doubt, this doe needs to be in someone’s show string. And she won’t skip a beat when you turn her out with the brood does.

Monique Heart: Lot #82 at Midwest Producer’s Classic

This is the second to last doe we will offer this year, sired by JJ Boer Goats’ Rio, who is a Windy Acres, Triple D and Double D Catapult grandson. Importantly, Rio has been an outstanding sire for our doe base, and Monique is no exception. The kids that Rio puts on the ground are so incredibly well structured. And he combines that with an exceptional amount of bone and mass—yet, his kids still bring plenty of style and elegance.

Monique, just like her sisters, carries so much shape and dimension down her top and through her back leg. Monique’s dam, JJ Boer Goats Elsa, a Smokin Hot Ruger granddaughter, is also one of our best producers. Further, she’s one of the highest-pointed percentage does in our herd. Unsurprisingly, we have plenty of confidence that Monique is another percentage doe that will do well in the show ring.

Further, she’s 75% Boer, so you can still get another good generation of percentage does out of her when she’s bred.

Slow Burn: Lot #63

Slow Burn is our favorite Frisky Whiskey daughter that we have offered. We really wanted to use this doe in our own breeding program, but, like we mentioned, we dug deep in our keeper pen to offer high-quality does for the Mid-America Classic sale. When you study Slow Burn, you can easily find she’s one of the most complete out of the does we’re offering. She offers style, balance, correctness and elegance. She carries a lot of product and holds that muscle high on her skeleton.

Slow Burn is a doe that we should have had in our show string this year, but it’s never too late—she has the ability to step into a ring today and be competitive. Her pedigree doesn’t disappoint either, combining some excellent traditional genetics along with color. Her full-brother from last season turned out to be an incredible buck, and we think the same quality is evident in her. You won’t want to miss this doe—there’s just too much opportunity to be had with her.

Whiskey Tango: Lot #57

When you look at Whiskey Tango’s pedigree, you simply cannot miss the shear amount of color. If you’re looking for a quality colored buck that has a high probability to throw color on his kids, look no further. His color pattern is so striking that you can’t help but notice him. Study him further and you see plenty of breed character, stout features and nothing short of impeccable structure. He’s so extended and wide through his front end, ties perfectly into his shoulder.

Whiskey Tango is long sided and carries the kind of muscle across his top and down his back leg that you look for in a good buck. We are anxious to see what Whiskey Tango can do for someone’s color program. There’s no doubt—you can bid with confidence on this one.
